Day 1: REYKJAVIK
Activities Highlights: Arrive in Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon
Arrive in Reykjavik - Velkomið (welcome) to Iceland! Fly into Keflavík International Airport (KEF), where you will be greeted by your driver who will take you to the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina.
Check-in at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica - As your Adventure Guides prepare for your 3:00 PM check-in, enjoy exploring your home for the next 3 nights. The hotel is walking distance from quaint shops and restaurants while being just a short taxi ride away from the old harbor and downtown areas.
Welcome Reception at the Hotel - Meet your fellow Adventurers and Adventure Guides before setting off for a relaxing visit to Blue Lagoon.
Blue Lagoon - Start your vacation off with some serious relaxation at this oasis serenity. Head to the Blue Lagoon for an extraordinary experience that includes a silica mud mask, sauna and steam rooms and a man-made waterfall that will help melt away any jet lag.
Welcome Dinner at LAVA Restaurant - Following your relaxing experience at Blue Lagoon, you’ll enjoy a delicious welcome dinner featuring fresh and natural Icelandic ingredients in the stunning, modern surroundings of LAVA restaurant, a part of the Blue Lagoon complex.

Day 2: GOLDEN CIRCLE
Activities Highlights: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall
Breakfast at the Hotel - Start your morning off with a tasty breakfast before heading out for your first day of adventures in Iceland.
Thingvellir National Park - Located next to Lake Thingvallavatn, the largest lake in Iceland, this remarkable national park is home to a beautiful canyon which is the meeting point of two of the Earth’s tectonic plates. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the location where the world’s oldest form of parliament first assembled in 930 A.D. and, over 1,000 years later, on June 17, 1944, the site where parliament members signed and solidified Iceland’s independence from Denmark.
Ice Cream at Efstidalur II Farm - Spend some in the idyllic country setting of this wonderful farm that has been family-owned since 1850, where you’ll taste their famous homemade ice cream.
Gullfoss Waterfall - See thousands of tons of water cascade down this majestic two-tiered waterfall into the deep canyon below. This is truly one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Iceland.
Strokkur Geyser - Explore this geothermal area where you’ll come across a myriad of bubbling hot springs and geysers. Among them is Strokkur, the area’s most active geyser which spouts almost 90 feet every few minutes.
Lunch at Friðheimar Greenhouse Farm - You’ll feel right at home at this family-run tomato farm and restaurant that invites you to see their working greenhouses, then enjoy a delicious taste of the crop for lunch.
Kerið Crater - Visit this volcanic crater, a popular Icelandic attraction that was formed nearly 6,500 years ago. Located in the Grímsnes area in South Iceland, the massive crater measures 890 feet across, 560 ft. wide and 180 ft. deep. Adventurers can take in the natural beauty of the Kerið’s vivid colors as they choose between a walk around the crater’s rim or around the natural pool below.
Dinner at VOX Brasserie - Savor a fusion of modern Icelandic and international classics that showcase the freshest ingredients.

Day 3: SOUTH ICELAND
Activities Highlights: Seljalandsfoss Hike; Sólheimajökul Glacier Hike; Brewery Tour, Tasting Flight and Dinner
Breakfast at the Hotel - Grab a bite to fuel up for your adventure-filled day.
Seljalandsfoss Hike - Get up close – and really wet – to one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Iceland. Explore all around this waterfall, including the ability to go behind it to see it in an entirely different light.
Lunch at Skógar Café - Refuel after your morning hike and get ready to hit the trail for an afternoon glacier hike.
Sólheimajökul Glacier Hike - Grab your crampons and hit the ice as you set out on this amazing glacier hike adventure where you will explore the dramatic terrain of ice formations, glacier-carved landscapes and vast panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. A glacier expert guide accompanies you every step of the way.
Brewery Tour, Tasting Flight and Dinner - Work up an appetite for dinner with a tour of a local brewery, plus sample some of their delicious varieties of beer with a tasting flight. Afterwards, share stories from the day’s adventures as you dine in a lovely Icelandic setting.

Day 4: AKUREYRI
Activities Highlights: Fly to Akureyri, Ektafiskur Experience & Culinary Tasting, Whale Watching and Cod Fishing in Hauganes, Private Nighttime Northern Lights Excursion
Breakfast at Hotel - Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the airport for your flight to Akureyri.
Travel to Akureyri - Transfer to Reykjavik Domestic Airport (RKV) for your flight from Reykjavik to Akureyri, which is approximately 40 minutes.
Lunch On Your Own in Akureyri - Explore downtown Akureyri and discover some culinary delights for your first meal in the north. Your Adventure Guides will point you in the direction of some of their favorite spots.
Ektafiskur Experience & Culinary Tasting - Visit this quaint fishing village and fish factory where you will learn about the fascinating history about its connection to the fish industry in Iceland. You’ll tour the facilities and see all the steps involved in exporting salted cod. Plus, for those brave Adventurers with a strong stomach, you can join “The Rotten Shark Club of Hauganes” by tasting fermented shark – and you’ll receive a verification card to prove that you actually did it!
Whale Watching and Cod Fishing in Iceland's Longest Fjord - Set sail from Hauganes, a small fishing village along the west bank of Eyjafjörður— the longest fjord in Iceland—and keep a watchful eye out for the humpback whales that swim throughout these waters, surfacing to say hello to whale watchers. Adventurers can also try out some cod fishing from the boat.
Dinner at Aurora Restaurant - After checking into the hotel, enjoy a relaxing dinner on property at the Aurora Restaurant while trading stories with your fellow Adventurers
Private Nighttime Excursion in Search of Northern Lights - Head away from the bright lights of the city for a late night excursion in search of the stunning Northern Lights.

Day 5: NORTH ICELAND
Activities Highlights: Grenjaðarstaður Turf Houses, Whale Museum in Húsavík, Goðafoss Waterfall
Breakfast at the Hotel - Start your day of adventures out right – with a lovely breakfast of bread, pastries, eggs, waffles and more.
Grenjaðarstaður Turf Houses - The farm at Grenjaðarstaður dates back over a thousand years to Iceland’s settlement. The picturesque turf house that currently stands was one of the country’s largest, with its oldest part dating back to 1865. This museum display offers a unique glimpse into how life once was for the Icelandic people.
Lunch and Afternoon on Your Own in Húsavík - Explore this seaside village with much to offer. Visit the village’s unique Whale Museum (ticket included), check out the natural surroundings or stroll through the local shops of this wonderful town.
Goðafoss Waterfall - With a height of almost 40 feet and a width of almost a staggering 100 feet, Goðafoss Waterfall, which translates to “Waterfall of the Gods,” is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. Get up close to the water’s edge to get a feel for the power of this natural wonder.
Dinner on Your Own in Akureyri - Head back to Akureyri, Iceland’s 2nd largest urban area which earned it the nickname, “the Capital of North Iceland,” where you and your fellow Adventurers can wind down your day of exploration with a savory meal in town. You can find a restaurant on your own, or ask your Adventure Guides for a recommendation.

Day 6: LAKE MÝVATN
Activities Highlights: Fuglasafn Sigurgeirs Bird Museum, Dimmuborgir Lava Labyrinth, Bread Baking
Breakfast at Hotel - Start off your day of adventure with a delicious breakfast before heading out for your amazing day.
Lake Mývatn - Discover some of Iceland’s natural beauty and wonders, including majestic waterfalls, natural hot springs and magnificent lava formations.
Fuglasafn Sigurgeirs Bird Museum - Check out the largest private bird collection in Iceland at this spectacular museum established following the pioneering work of Sigurgeir Stefansson. The interactive display of the collection is both interesting and educational and contains a specimen of all of the Icelandic breeding birds except one. There are also several bird hides where you can get close up to the wildlife for photography or bird watching.
Lunch at Café Vogafjós - Enjoy a hearty lunch at this unique café located inside the stable. The café offers not just a view of the cows, but also some of Iceland's most fresh and authentic cuisine.
Dimmuborgir Lava Labyrinth - Visit the lava fields at Dimmuborgir and you’ll see where the landscape, which means, “black castle,” gets its name. The lava pillars, columns and arches were created over 2,000 years ago and, as legend says, is the home to the Icelandic Yuletide Lads, 13 mischievous boys who are akin to a trouble-making Santa Claus.
Bread in a Bucket Baking Demonstration - Adventurers will learn how Iceland’s famous brown Geysir or rúgbrauð bread, which the locals commonly call “Bread in a Bucket,” is made as they see how dough is placed in buckets, buried underground and baked by the heat from nearby hot springs.
Dinner at Rub 23 in Akuyeri - Enjoy a delicious meal at this popular Akuyeri restaurant that features a wide variety of local, fresh seafood and sushi as well as a mix of selected dishes.

Day 7: AKUREYRI AND REYKJAVIK
Activities Highlights: Museum 1238 Battle of Iceland Visit, Transfer to Reykjavik, Krauma Baths, Farewell Dinner at Resaurant Hōfnin
Breakfast at Hotel - Eat a nice breakfast at the hotel to prepare for the adventures that await you.
Museum 1238 Battle of Iceland Visit - Become immersed in history on a visit to this modern and artful interactive, virtual realtiy installation.
River Rafting in Skagafjörður - Take to the water for a dramatic, but not too intense adventure through some of Iceland’s most spectacular deep canyon scenery. This trip is mostly Class II rapids with the occasional Class III, so it’s perfect for the less experienced rafter. Dry suits are included to keep you warm!
Lunch in an Icelandic Village - After your exhilarating rafting adventure, discover some amazing local flavors and fill up on Iceland’s small-town delicacies.
Travel to Reykjavik - Transfer by motor coach to Reykjavik for a scenic ride along the famed Ring Road, Iceland’s national road which runs around the island and connects most of the major areas.
Krauma Baths - Indulge yourself in the therapeutic waters of the Krauma Baths. With baths of warm and cold waters, a steam bath and relaxation room, it’s the perfect way to unwind.
Farewell Dinner at Restaurant Hōfnin - Celebrate the end of your amazing journey as you gather with your fellow adventurers at this family-run restaurant that mirrors the spirit of the surrounding harbor and it’s 1930s aquagreen houses that served as baiting sheds for local fisherman. Dine on classic Icelandic cuisine while enjoying the magnificent marina view with Esja mountain in the background.

Day 8: REYKJAVIK
Activities Highlights: Transfer to Keflavík International Airport

Transfer to Keflavík International Airport (KEF) - Say góður við to Iceland as you board a motor coach and head from Reykjavik to Keflavík International Airport (KEF) for your return flight home.
